True the Vote v. IRS, et al.

ActRight Legal Foundation files the first lawsuit by a non-profit, non-partisan, charitable, and educational organization against the IRS. The IRS targeted True the Vote because of its mission of promoting election integrity and its perceived association with “Tea Party” organizations. True the Vote filed its application for tax-exempt status over three years ago.
